Lady Dragons roll to easy win

Fairland blew open a close game with a 10-run fifth inning to give the Lady Dragons a 15-2 win over the Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers Monday.
Kristen Clausing got the win while Jessica Mann finished.
Kate Nida went 4-4, Kristen Brumfield and Holly Black 3-3, and Megan Fisher 3-5 for the Lady Dragons.
Fisher tripled and Nida singled to ignite the 10-run fifth inning.
Two walks plus singles by Curry, Tiffany Rutherford, Jennifer Jones, Fisher, Nida and Clausing got a double in the uprising.
The Lady Tigers were led by Tracy Mays who went 3-4.
On Tuesday, Fairland, 7-2, hosts Symmes Valley while Ironton, 3-8, plays at Chesapeake.
