Gossett, Schug and Jones prepare for N/S All-Star Games

Four games, three players.
Three area basketball players will participate in three of the North/South All-Star games
Sunday at Capital University in Bexley, a Columbus suburb.
Chesapeake's 6-foot-4 senior forward Aaron Gossett will play for the South's Div. III team, Rock Hill's 6-1 senior David Schug will be a member of the South's Div. II squad, and Fairland's 5-6 senior guard Jennifer Jones will play for the South in the girls' Div. III game.
The girls Division III-IV game tips-off at noon, followed by the girls Div. I-II game at 1:45 p.m.
The boys Div. III-IV game is at 3:30 p.m. and the Div. I-II will begin at 5:45 p.m.
Gossett averaged 12.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.1 steals, and shot 58 percent from the floor as Chesapeake went 18-1 in the regular season, won an eighth straight Ohio Valley Conference championship
and advanced to the Div. III regional semifinals.
Schug averaged 20.7 points per game, 8.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals. He was a three-time all-district player including a two-time choice for first team.
Jones was a first team choice as she averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 4.0 steals.
