GROVE CITY -- William F. Straight, 66, of Grove City died Monday at Mt. Carmel Medical Center.
The Waterloo native was born May 12, 1936, the son of the late Elva "Beecher" Straight.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Constance L. Wright Straight.
He was retired from Cantwell Machinery Company of Columbus and he was a graduate of Cadmus High School near Waterloo. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers for over 30 years.
He also was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Jim Brumfield and Bud Jenkins.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roger W. and Yvonne Straight of Columbus and Ryan M. Straight of Grove City; one daughter and son-in-law, Rogena and Bill Tworney of Crystal, Ill.; one granddaughter, Alexis Straight of Florida; mother, Blanche Straight Shaver of Patriot; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Agnes Brumfield of Gallipolis, Polly Jenkins of Chesapeake, Elladean and Paul Mitchell of Patriot, Lawana and Brian Bostic of Patriot and Sherry and Eldon Paugh of Milton, W.Va.; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Rosalee Straight of Oak Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home in Grove City.
