Did you see Harry Potter walking down the street last night? How about a ghost, a witch or a Powerpuff girl? Did Dracula knock on your door and beg for some candy? Welcome to All Hallows Eve, or Halloween. Lawrence County residents – including the ghouls – celebrated Halloween a little early and turned to the streets last night to go out and plead with community members for a treat. Above, sisters Sara (left) and Susan Beaver of Wyanoke Street pass out some candy to one of the not-so-scary beggers. Those who didn’t dish out chocolate delectables, however, may have awakened this morning to a devious little trick spawned from the brain of a pugnacious tot who took revenge with a roll of toilet paper draped over trees.
