Gene Wilson of Willow Wood, an employee with Witt Construction of Greenup, Ky., stacks cobblestone bricks from South Fifth Street, in preparation for a street repair. To repair the brick streets, the company will take up the bricks, break up the concrete foundation, lay a new foundation and overlay it with sand before piecing the bricks back together again.
