Propane company to celebrate 65 years of operation

HANGING ROCK — A local propane business is celebrating 65 years of service by hosting customer appreciation day on Friday.

Arrick’s Propane, located at 591 State Route 650, invites the public to drop by from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. that day to take part.

The company will be serving hot dogs and is offering discounts of $5 on 20-pound tanks and 10 percent off of ventless heaters.

There will also be a raffle for a free tank of propane.

The company was founded by Ralph Arrick Sr. and its current president and CEO is Ralph Arrick Jr.
