Those was the thoughts of Rock Hill head coach Alvin Carpenter following a 48-43 overtime loss to the Portsmouth Notre Dame Lady Titans Thursday.

Rock Hill (4-4) was just 16 of 61 from the field for 26 percent and one of 17 from 3-point range.

“We couldn’t hit anything. We missed one easy shot after another the whole game,” said Carpenter. “The thing is, we ran our offense as well as we have all year. We just didn’t make our shots.”

The Redwomen were leading 32-24 after three quarters but made just 4 of 10 from the foul line in the fourth quarter while the Lady Titans were 5 of 6.

Notre Dame then tied the game to force overtime when Jen Arnzen banked in a long 3-pointer from the right wing at the buzzer.

The Lady Titans outscored the Redwomen 8-3 in the overtime.

Courtney Duncan led Rock Hill with 16 points before fouling out. She also had five steals. Dani Crabtree and Tommi Butler grabbed eight rebounds each.

Arnzen scored a game-high 23 for the Lady Titans.

Rock Hill visits Symmes Valley on Monday.
